Meet the Elected Directors for KFRPD
The Kearney Fire and Rescue Protection District is governed by a five-member Board of Directors. The Directors are elected at the April general election in odd-numbered years. Each Director serves a six-year term.
Board meetings are open to the public. The public is encouraged to attend any Board meeting to express any concerns or suggestions. In limited situations, the Board may adjourn to executive or closed session as permitted by state law.
The Board’s regular monthly meeting is generally held on the third Tuesday of each month at 9:00 AM at the Fire Station at 201 East 6th Street, Kearney, Missouri. Notices and agendas for regular and special meetings are posted as required by state law.
