EMT Training That Prepares You

EMTs are the backbone of the Emergency Medical Services in the United States of America. This program will provide you with the knowledge and skills required for stabilizing and treating patients in emergency situations. EMT-B consists of basic life support, patient assessment, patient care, and instruction on how to utilize and maintain the equipment that is used during work as an EMT.

This class will combine lecture and practical skills. The lecture covers 41 chapters from AAOS 12th edition Emergency Care and Transport of the Sick and Injured EMT textbook. Successful completion of the class will require mastery of 10 National Registry skills.

During supervised clinical rotations, you will learn in the real-life setting of the emergency room and ambulance. After successful conclusion of this program, you will be able to sit for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician practical and written test.

Course Schedule

The class will begin in July and run through December. Classes will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. with one Saturday afternoon per month for skills.

Course Instructors

This program will be instructed by professional Paramedics and EMT-Basics who are experts in the field with vast clinical experience. We offer a learning environment where all types of students can excel.

Student learner requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age to take the National Registry Test.
  • Possesses a valid Missouri driver’s license or valid state or federal identification.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and a criminal background check.
  • Must complete National Registry Testing within two years of the completion of the program.

Course Cost

Course tuition is $1,200, including all books with any additional fees that will be required for taking the National Registry Test. There is a minimum $350 deposit due to start class. Please pay this as soon as possible to reserve your seat. The balance may be paid in monthly installments at the first of each month, August to November, and must be paid in full to be released to test.​​
