Details on First Aid Training at KFRPD
The Kearney Fire & Rescue Protection District is committed to having a community that is trained in CPR/AED/First Aid and equipped to handle a sudden cardiac arrest situation, which can be the difference between surviving or not. Our Community Training program focuses on ways to grow the readiness in our community to handle a cardiac arrest episode and maybe save the life of someone you know.
Public Access Defibrillation (PAD) programs increase access to CPR training and place Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) throughout a community. Bystanders then have access to lifesaving equipment to initiate aid prior to the arrival of emergency medical services.
