Shadow is the 14 year old Dalmatian that lives at the Fire Station.  Shadow loves visitors, especially kids.  Shadow also goes to the Kearney Schools and other places and events to help teach kids Fire Safety.  Shadow can Stop, Drop and Roll (with a treat).  If you have noticed from the picture Shadow does not have a tail.  On May 16th 2003 Shadow didn't look both ways before trying to cross 92 Hwy and was struck by a pickup truck.  The Truck had to be lifted off so we could pull her out.  Shadow then had to have four pins placed in her hips to repair her 3 pelvic fractures.  She also broke her tail.  Unfortunately Shadow had to loose her tail.  But Shadow still loves to play with kids and adults.
