"SHADOW" December 17, 1993 – April 7, 2009

It is with great sadness to report to those of you not aware, the passing of our long time mascot and friend SHADOW.

Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at approx 2100 she presented with a need for medical attention and Dr. Morris quickly met us at the clinic to care for her. After trying some procedures to make her comfortable it was recommended and agreed upon that we would not make any heroic efforts for her. Shadow passed at approx. 2300 with several of her family members at her side. A special thanks to those of you who were able to assist, it was a very difficult event for all involved. Dr. Morris graciously offered to handle the cremation process for us so that we may have time to decide what type of memorial we will have in her honor. Shadow joined our family in February 1994 when she was just six weeks old. She had many friends in the community and especially liked all the children that got a chance to visit her.
